Overview
Before you sign in for the first time, Precedent needs to confirm that your account's email is yours. You receive an email with the subject Verify your email; opening its link verifies the account and signs you in.
When it is required
- When you create your account from an invitation.
- Before accepting an invitation to a firm: the screen shows Verifica tu email antes de aceptar la invitación (verify your email before accepting the invitation).
- If you try to sign in before doing it, the app shows Verify your email before signing in; check your inbox.
How to verify
- Look for the Verify your email message from Precedent in the inbox of the address you were invited with.
- Select the link. Precedent opens with your account verified.
- If you came from an invitation, go back to the invitation link and select Aceptar (accept).
Send the email again
From the invitation page (the link in the invitation email), the verification notice includes a Reenviar (resend) button. After using it you will see Correo de verificación enviado a followed by your address.
If you signed up without an invitation and do not have that link at hand, contact us with your account email and we will help you complete the verification.
The email does not arrive
- Check spam, promotions and any filter in your firm that holds external email.
- Make sure you are looking at the inbox of the address the invitation was sent to.
- Wait a few minutes; the email sometimes takes a while.
- Request the resend from the invitation once more.
The link expired
Verification links are valid for a limited time. If opening it does not verify your account, request a new one with Reenviar from the invitation or contact us.
